A disappointing "accomplishment."

What happens after you have given up exercising for 14 weeks?

This:

I ran for the first time in over three months... and how disappointing it was. I ran the whopping 2.16 miles without stopping, but that pace time is SAD. (I could run a 10k with at more than a minute per mile faster than that!!!). It was nice to get out, especially since it was beautiful out this morning, but I've got to get back in shape... heart and body!

I am getting back on the wagon. This is a promise to myself and a commitment to staying healthy through this pregnancy.

I've lucked out that I haven't been sick and that my eating habits haven't changed. I have not convinced myself that I'm eating for two, because really, an extra 300 calories a day is like consuming two cups of regular soda or two tablespoons of peanut butter. It's not a lot.

P.S.) There is a new "bump" picture up. Enjoy your weekend family and friends!

XOXO

  3. I love the name of the playlist, haha! Really, don't beat yourself up over that pace! Just getting out and running is 99% of the battle, right? Plus, being pregnant, you aren't so supposed to let your heart rate get quite as high as you would otherwise. You're doing great. :)
