Tonight before bed Cameron and I were cuddling on the recliner, with him lounging in my lap. He sat up and then threw his head back hitting me in the cheek. I told him "ow, that hurt mommy." He turned around, kissed me on the cheek, told me "all better," laid his head on my chest and said "I love you."

My first unprompted "I love you." He just made me melt and even more proud to be his mommy (as if that were even possible).
